Corporate Gobernance

In Grupo AVE we work as to have the best corporate practices that guarantee transparency, reliability, governance and control. These extend to all of the areas and companies that belong to the group, shareholders and third parties interested.

In charge of coordinating the operations in compliance with the strategic plan of Grupo AVE 2012-2018.

Its main function is to supervise the compliance with the internal audit program, the quality and transparency of the accounting and financial information, taking into account the risks of the business and evaluating entirely all of the areas of the Grupo AVE, suggesting the implementation of policies thereon.

Its objective is to design policies in terms of Grupo AVE good governance, business and administrative behavior, possible conflicts of interest between managers and societies of Grupo AVE, and between managers and shareholders. Likewise, it monitors the board of directors and audit committee’s performance on this matter.

Its main function is to supervise the Strategic plan’s level of achievement, certify the progress and setbacks, as well as the identification of barriers in its progress. It also suggests activities that allow taking forward the company’s management toward the achievement of goals as well as to advise the board of directors about elements that should be evaluated or included in the plan.

Senior Management auditing and proposition of remuneration, training, recruitment criteria, incentives policies and Grupo AVE’s staff goals.

It follows up the strategic plan defined for the glass area, suggests changes to the plan, ensures operational compliance of the companies that are part of this strategic business unit.
